I hope everyone is enjoying their holiday break as much as I am enjoying mine. Christmas this year was pretty quiet, although it started early. We celebrated at Mom's place last night and had a nice Christmas Eve dinner before heading to church. I think that's the first time I have been to church in two years, since last year we went to Myrtle Beach for Christmas. It was nice to see people again, although I was surprised by how big some of the kids I used to babysit or teach in Sunday school have gotten. I did get to see the guy I used to co-teach with, although I didn't recognize him at first because he's grown his hair all out. The Christmas hymns we sung at church were pretty much the first Christmas music I heard this year, since I never listen to the radio. The candlelit service was nice though.

This morning I didn't get up ridiculously early the way I usually do. This may be because I was up late doing nothing in particular last night, or maybe it's just because this year it didn't feel as much like Christmas as it usually does. I just haven't been super-excited this year, and I actually felt a little rushed getting everything ready for yesterday and today. Maybe as I am getting older, the magic that made Christmas so awesome when I was little is wearing away. I don't want to be jaded D: I finally got out of bed when I heard Dad calling that Mom had arrived.

Christmas breakfast was tasty. It was a bit different this year, but still delicious. I'm glad that vegetarian sausage substitutes still taste just as good as real meat. After we ate we opened the presents under Dad's tree, and I am pretty happy with what I got. I got the one thing I wanted most, which was "Howl's Moving Castle." I also asked for "Ponyo" but apparently it doesn't come out on DVD until March or so. Dad gave me "Princess Mononoke" instead, which is fine because I didn't have that one either. Yay for a growing Studio Ghibli collection!

I also got several gift cards, the oddest of which is for Kohls. I definitely don't need any more clothing to cram into my already full closet! There isn't a Kohls down where I live either, so I have to spend it here. I have to spend the Barnes and Noble one up here too though, so my sister and I are planning to go shopping sometime before I head back to school. Maybe I'll find some of the manga I am missing, not that my shelves have room for more books>>

My plans for the next few days are pretty vauge. I'll probably spend most of the time lounging around coloring some of the art that's on my harddrive or reading the Mallorean. I read the Belgariad again over Thanksgiving break, so I think I would like to read the Mallorean again now. Since the Tales of Symphonia guild extended the contest deadline, I'm going to try and finish the other two panels of my entry too. Wish me luck XD

Define 'growing up'. I've had a lot of dreams xD

I wish I had the ability to remember and properly capture my dreams on paper.

I like carrots and peas. I prefer my carrots raw and my peas frozen xD

I read volume seven of Hana Kimi earlier today, but the last real book I read was probably 'Fairest' by Gail Carson Levinne. I need to go to the library again...

I'm a rabbit, or if you prefer the western way...Aquarius.

I am addicted to the internet. I don't sleep.

It's more likely to be the other way around considering I don't drive>>

Floor Hockey. I like running people over. (badminton is fun too)

I'm an optimist, or try to be one.

Wait for you to fall asleep and draw on your face In the mean time I suppose we'd wind up talking or playing cards (I carry cards in my purse in case of boredom)

I broke two fingers on my drawing/writing hand once. I hated not being able to draw.

I can't drink most juice without diluting it with water. It's too sweet.

I have a cat named Fiero who isn't allowed to live with me. It makes me sad.

My eyes are usually green, but they're actually hazel, so they change sometimes.

I'd like to think I do. I'm a hopeless romantic at heart and consistently disappointed by reality. Maybe I ought to stop reading fluffy shoujo manga xD

33) Favourite and least favourite food?
My favorite food is either angel hair pasta and shrimp sauted in lemon garlic butter or chocolate. I can't stand stuffed peppers or extremely spicy things.
